Polyhydride cable (PUR cable) is halogen-free, flame resistant, and has higher mechanical and chemical resistance, making it suitable for harsh environments. In addition to wear resistance, polyurethanes limit the growth of bacteria and microorganisms, making the jacket material particularly suitable for use in the food and beverage industry, clean rooms and assembly line hygiene requirements.

As the sheath material used in poly ester of hydrogen also keep the softness of the cable, and many have need frequent or constant bending applications, such as dragging cable and PUR cable powertrain applications used in the cable, such as conveyor, used in flexible drum winding cable used for ornamental design mobile machinery and equipment, as well as the control cable used in robotics and machine tools. Polyhydroesters are not suitable for use as an insulating material - other low-smoke zero-halogen compounds are needed - but using PUR still has advantages over PVC and even a sturdy rubber sheath. In terms of temperature range,PUR cable can operate in the temperature range of -40 degree to plus 90 degree , refer to the technical specifications of each cable for accurate upper and lower limits.
